UWSP’sAODA Prevention Partnership First meeting of the management team: Collaborations and Partnership describes the intent of the organization “Collaborations bring together diverse stakeholder groups to address problems that no one member can resolve in isolation. Partners develop common goals and strategies, as well as a shared responsibility for creating the structures needed to implement them. Partners tend to have the full backing of their individual organizations. Resources are pooled or jointly secured for longer-term efforts.”

  7. Vision Statement UWSP’s AODA Prevention Partnership: Changing Campus Culture Together

  8. Mission Statement “The mission of the AODA Prevention Partnershipis to employ best practices to address the alcohol and other drug use culture among members of the UWSP community to foster an environment that optimizes learning and engagement.”

  9. Management Team Projects • Continued work on student interventions • Oversight and decision-making on universal prevention for future administrations • Strategic planning in two areas: education and discipline

  10. Parallel Projects • HS 490 class • Alcohol-Wise-online alcohol education experience, 2334 students enrolled in course for fall 2012; 96.7% response rate (only 77 didn’t complete)
