  34. Federal Mini Budget 2010-11 Notes: 1. Exemption of Sales Tax under Sales Tax Act, 1990 withdrawn: Fertilizers Pesticides Tractors 2. Facility of Zero Rating on Plant, Machinery and Equipment including parts has been withdrawn. Accordingly, 17% GST is now imposed on agricultural inputs, and engineering items. 3. Zero Rating on Export oriented sector has been withdrawn. Accordingly, 17% GST will be imposed on the sale of: - Plant, Machinery and Equipment - Domestic Sales of Export oriented items like:

Inflation declined to 12.9% in February 2011 against 15.7% in December 2010. 4. Exports increased by 26% in eight months and is expected to cross US$ 25 billion by June 30, 2011. 5. Remittances to surpass to $ 11 billion.
