THEORY • Nitrogen • essential element for the life of living organisms • important part of proteins and nucleic acids • human body is not able to produce nitrogen • nitrogen is absorbed through plant roots and bacteria living nearby • plants convert nitrogen into inorganic compounds • result – increasing quality of yield crops containing nutrients Author of photo: Klaudia Kvaková

DISCUSSION • growing in solutions • unsuccessful • inhalation through a straw- deficient • decay process • growingin 3 substrates • sand, perlite, soil – do not containnitrogen • fertilization with various concentration of NH4NO3 plants planted inperlite grow better • 4 % solution • high content ofNH4NO3 • 1 % solution • ideal content of NH4NO3 for healthy growth • different conditions for growing

  24. CONCLUSION • NH4NO3 • high content of nitrogen • in the right concentration – suitable for fertilization • healthy growth of plants, higher yield crops

  25. FUTURE PLANS • to increase the number of measurements • to grow plants under the same conditions (temperature, humidity)

We improved our work with literature and we managed to choose the important facts we would like to present in the project.
