  2. Proposed departure on Oman Air Friday 30th March 2012 leaving Muscat 1350 arriving Paris CDG 1855 Returning on Wednesday 4th April leaving Paris 1225 arriving Muscat 2225

  3. Proposed accommodation: 2* Tim Hotel Jardin Des Plantes Each parent and child would sleep in a twin room with en-suite bathroom in this 2* hotel situated in the heart of the Latin Quarter, facing the botanical gardens and convenient for metro and train stations, local restaurants for evening meals and close to a number of tourist attractions. The hotel offers buffet breakfast, and it has a lounge where parents could gather in the evenings after their children have gone to bed to enjoy a glass of wine* or coffee together. (*subject to licensing regulations.)

  4. Four full days of activities on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to include…

  5. Half-day trip to the Eiffel Tower, with pre-purchased group tickets to ensure priority access.

  6. Trip to the amazing Musée D’Orsay with a guide specially aimed at Primary children – typically the guide chooses 10 works of art and guides the children in what to look for.

  7. Sight-seeing boat trip along the Seine on a Bateau Mouche

  8. Lunch at an outdoor café in Montmartre, a wander round the artists in the square and a visit to Sacré Coeur Cathedral.

  9. Visit to Notre Dame Cathedral to see the famous stained glass rose windows.

  10. Tourist bus ride to see key sites like Les Champs Elysées, L’Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, Le Louvre pyramide, Le Trocadero etc.

  11. Full day trip to Giverny, the house and garden of Monet, followed by lunch at an old water mill, then on to visit the Palace and gardens of Versailles. Dedicated coach and tour guide.

  12. It is proposed that evening meals are pre-booked in local restaurants close to the hotel, which serve a fixed price ‘menu du jour’ and ‘menu enfant’ to simplify ordering and bill settlement. One evening would take place at Les Fondus de la Raclette (above) where we can eat meat or cheese fondue or raclette.
