  2. What is NCB? A nationalized commercial bank is one that is operated by the government. Though its management system is quite similar to other private commercial bank but government has more rules and regulations so that it’s known as a non-profitable bank. Any profit made by the NCB is go to the states fund and looses are borne by the taxpayer.

Over view of NCB SONALI BANK • Vision: Socially committed leading banking institution with global presence. • Mission: Aiming at enriching their lives, creating value for the stakeholders and contributing towards socio-economic development of the country. • Capital: Presently, its authorized and paid up capital is Tk 10 billion. • Number of braches: Total numbers of branches are 1200. Foreign branches are 2 & local branches are 1198.

  9. Conclusion Bank is playing a very important role for a country’s economic condition. One country economy mainly depends mainly to the bank. Bangladesh governments establish those banks because private cannot make so much profit through make people helpless & cannot so much dominate in our economy. But unfortunately lack of awareness, corruption & other reasons those banks are not able to dominate in our banking sector.
