11. Water Capacity Issues • Impact on existing customers- modeling and flow tests • What are needed fire flows? • Minimum residential 750 GPM @ 20 PSI • Based on discussions with fire dept., insurance service charts, or calculation

12. Water – Give Us a Loop • Why ? To sustain pressure, fire flows, circulation of water for better water quality, for operation outages (breaks and leaks) • 90 (lots/buildings) or less – single feed okay • More than 90, need additional loop • GCWW will furnish piping materials in existing right of way

Redevelopment – Water Issues • Get in early with concept plans and application • Evaluate existing water mains and branches • Upgrade water mains and branches is typical • In right of way we’ll furnish fire hydrants and pipe pipe approx. 40% of total cost of main installation • Again, we’re always looking for loops

16. You’re not finished yet ! • Ohio EPA requires 10’ separation between water and sewer mains • Bonding and letter of intent • Various submittals and easements • Everything laid out at preliminary application process…..just need follow through
