  3. Death, kids, and family • David Archuleta is still alive, and doesn’t plan to die anytime soon… • He is only 20 and does not have kids. • He has a dad and a mom that got a divorce. He has 4 siblings: • Claudia Archuleta • Daniel Archuleta • Melissa Jasmine Archuleta (Jazzy) • Amber Archuleta

  4. Why he is famous • He is an American pop singer-songwriter. In 2007, at sixteen years old, he became one of the youngest contestants on the seventh season of American Idol In May 2008 he finished as the runner-up.

  5. Stories • It was only a few years ago when David Archuleta came home for a concert and my mom met his dad and he told us what hotel they would be staying at. So after the concert we went to the hotel to see him and when he came downstairs it was so cool. He was really polite and so nice. It was such a cool experience!

  6. Accomplished • He accomplished winning 2nd place on American Idol. • He writes some of his songs. • He got a record deal.
