  2. I Believe in Caring • I believe that caring for the student as a unique individual is the basis for the quality and richness that I bring to nursing education

  3. Inspiring a Personal Desire to Learn • It is my belief that true learning takes place when the student has the personal desire to learn.

  4. A Love of life-long learning Genuine caring and kindness for their patients as well as their nursing peers. My Desire is to Inspire in Each Student

  5. What I Bring to My Students • Over 30 years as a Medical-Surgical nurse in the acute care setting. • Enthusiasm, excitement and a love of nursing. • A Role model of professional nursing.

  6. My Beliefs as an Educator • Optimal learning takes place in a caring, safe, and non threatening setting in which to practice new skills and explore new ideas.

  7. Communication • True learning can take place only when the lines of communication are kept open and immediate feedback is given to the student in a non-threatening and caring manner.
