Sign Ups/ Important Information • Please sign up at the large table if you are interested in volunteering for: • Homeroom Parent • Peace Valley Trip • Giant School Rewards • Updated email address—please notate if you do NOT want your child’s information included in the student directory • Dollars for Doyle donations • Save the Dates • September 4th and 5th - Team Building Ropes Course at Camp Curiosity • September 25th - School Holiday • October 2nd - Peace Valley Trip: Clean Streams • October 13th-17th - Celebrate Education Week • April 13th-24th- PSSA Testing

  3. Communication • Wednesday folder • School Wires (Grade level website) • Absentee notes (see homepage of Doyle website) • Please send all medications from home for use on trips • Text alerts for Aramark lunches • All sixth grade classrooms are nut-free. • New Reporting System

  6. Homework • Purpose: • Independent practice, to master skills • Research projects • Extensions (enhance learning) • Develop study skills • Develop work ethic • Missed assignments will be noted in planner. • Please sign and return to school the next day along with the missed assignment

  7. Expectations • Classroom Expectation – Be appropriate • Social Networking • Based on “Doyle 5” – • Respect • Responsibility • Cooperation • Citizenship • Academics

  8. Consequences • First and Second offense of the week: Warning • Third offense: Miss 15 min. of recess/Reflect on decision making • Fourth offense: Conduct report • Fifth offense: Behavior Notice *Severely inappropriate behaviors may require an immediate consequence.
