  6. Forlorn: adjective • desolate or dreary; unhappy or miserable • lonely and sad; forsaken • expressive of hopelessness; despairing • bereft; destitute (forlorn of comfort)

  7. Guilder: noun • a silver or nickel coin and monetary unit of the Netherlands until the euro was adopted, equal to 100 cents; florin
