Bulks (45 plants) A ATF0 ATF2 ATF5 F10-R14 B Genotypes 1 45 ATF0 N = 4 ATF2 N = 7 ATF5 N = 13 Supplementary Figure 2: SRAPs of bulk samples (A) and individual genotypes (B) from the cultivar Apica (ATF0) and from populations ATF2 and ATF5 recurrently selected for superior tolerance to freezing (TF) within this cultivar. Amplifications were performed with the F10-R14 primer pair combination. The black arrow in panel A indicates a positive polymorphism increasing in response to selection for superior freezing tolerance. Square boxes in panel B indicates the number of genotypes (N) that are positive for the polymorphic fragment identified with bulks.
