  3. I noticed that the grass in the back of the house doesn’t grow as fast as the grass in the front of the house does. Observations

  4. Do plants need light to grow? Question

  5. I think plants in the light will grow faster than plants that aren’t in the light. Hypothesis

  6. 4 lima bean seeds • 2 plastic cups • Potting soil • Water • Cabinet space • Window space Experiment Materials

  7. Place potting soil in each cup about ¾ full. • Push 2 bean seeds about an inch into the soil of each cup. • Place one cup in a cabinet. • Place the other cup in a window. • Each plant is given 2 Tablespoons of water each day. • Observe the plants over 2 weeks (14 days). Experiment & Test Hypothesis
