  1. Sixth Express Entry Draw of 2016 for Immigration to Canada Sees 1,013 ITAs Issued

  2. The latest draw from the Express Entry pool has seen a total of 1,013 candidates being issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence. The 29th draw took place on March 9, 2016, and each candidate who received an ITA had 473 or more Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points. The CRS point requirement for this draw is the highest so far this year, but this round of invitations also saw a reduced number of ITAs issued. This factor would have had a significant bearing on the increase in the CRS point requirement. Each draw for the past ten months has selected a portion of candidates who do not have a qualifying job offer in Canada or a nomination from a Canadian province.
