  2. Division Director’s Salaries • No system changes or spend plan changes. • Move DD Salaries back to Organization Burden. • A portion of ALD’s salaries will remain in G&A (initial estimate is 20% of their time).

  3. Space • System Changes: • No space feeders will run. • Spend Plan Changes: • Do not include space. • Eliminate Space charge. • Move the following to Overhead (Site Support): • Leases • Custodial, non-metered utilities, etc. • Maintenance • The following rates change:

Electricity • System Changes: • Electricity commodity will no longer get procurement burden. • Electricity will get LDRD. • Spend Plan Changes: • Electricity column should not include procurement or G&A, but should include LDRD. • Move electrical maintenance to Overhead (Site Support) • Remove procurement burden from commodity. • The following rates change: *Rate shown is subject to change.

  5. LDRD • Create separate rate to collect LDRD costs: • LDRD Operating • LDRD Equipment costs • Eliminate LDRD Equipment burden • Apply rate to Total Cost base (including burdens, excluding construction, UCDRD, Fellowships, Conference, Honorarium, Stipends). • The following rates change:

LDRD • System Changes: • LDRD is on Total Costs EXCEPT S&S and FAC, S&S and FAC are applied to LDRD. • LDRD not applied to Honorarium (36000) and Stipends (35000). • LDRD not applied to Work Sent to Other Labs. • LDRD is applied to the following High Detail Project (HDP) Types (including work orders under them): CRADA, DOEIN, DOEOP, EQFAB, EQPUR, RMBNF, RMBOF, WFO • LDRD is not applied to the following at any level: CNSTR, CONFR, FELLW, GIFTS, OH**, ROYAL, UCDRD • In FMS, LDRD has been added to all projects with the above HDP Types. Any new projects with these types MUST include LDRD as a burden. • “LDR” is the new burden code. Resource Category is 90600. • Spend Plan Changes: • When inputting costs, INCLUDE LDRD at 2.9% on the appropriate costs. (Except AFRD) • The amount of LDRD burden appears as an additional row below the Travel burden in the spend plan template.

  7. Rate Changes NOTE: All rates are subject to change during the fiscal year. *Rates are shown without the effect of compounding burdens
