  2. Sources of your 4-H Data • Numbers, of course- mainly overall program • Youth at programs (sign in sheets) • Youth involved with your program (enrolled) • Adult volunteers involved (approved) • Compare previous years • i.e. Increased participation by 30%

Sources of your 4-H Data • Evaluations/Surveys- specific activities/events/programs • Pre/Post surveys • Exit surveys • Check AIMS to find out what questions to ask • Observations • Incorporate workshops and competitions together (i.e. Broiler Bar-B-Que) • Utilize competition outcomes • Volunteer leader observations • Parent testimonials

  4. Conveying Public Value • Make sure to show what 4-H provides to the community • Youth involved with your program • Adult volunteers involved • Community Service hours- both youth and adults

  5. Conveying Public Value • Convey the life skills your 4-Hers and volunteers have gained • Leadership, citizenship, science, healthy living • Use data from surveys, observations, etc. • Ultimately show what sets 4-H apart from any other youth organization available in your county
