  16. to calculate the numbers of 3rd year students in biomedical sciences who consume fast food in the month of February to find out the most favourable type of fast food taken

  17. to find out the most frequent fast food restaurants visited between race as well as gender to compare the students of biomedical sciences that go to fast food by race, gender and accommodation (inside KTSN 1 and outside KTSN 1)

  18. to compare the amount of money spend by the 3rd year Biomedical students in consuming fast food by race, gender and accommodation (inside KTSN 1 and outside KTSN 1)

  19. 1.4 Research Question • Is fast food consumption among the 3rd year Biomedical Sciences students in UKM KL for the session 2008/2009 in February 2009 high?

  20. 1.5 Hypothesis Fast food consumption is high among the 3rd year Biomedical Sciences students in UKM KL for the session 2008/2009 in February 2009.

  21. 2. Method 2.1 Methodology and Tools The tool : closed ended questionnaire with the indirect method

  22. 2.2 Research Design Cross sectional study 2.3 Target Population All undergraduates of Biomedical Sciences of UKM KKL session 2008/2009 for the month of February 2009

  23. 2.4 Study Population 3rd year undergraduates of Biomedical Sciences of UKM KKL session 2008/2009 2.5 Sampling Method Universal Sampling

  24. 2.6 Sample Size 103 students of 3rd year undergraduates of Biomedical Sciences of UKM KKL session 2008/2009

  25. 2.7 Research Analysis • To find out the most frequent fast food restaurants visited between race as well as gender • Test that can be used - The one-way Chi-Square Frequency , or also known as Chi-Square test for goodness of fit .

  26. To compare the students of biomedical sciences that go to fast food by race, gender and accommodation (inside KTSN 1 and outside KTSN 1) • Test that can be used - The one-way Chi-Square Frequency

  27. To compare the amount of money spend by the 3rd year Biomedical students in consuming fast food by race, gender and accommodation (inside KTSN 1 and outside KTSN 1) . • Test that can be used - The one-way Independent Analysis of Variance ( ANOVA ).

  28. 2.8 Definition of variable Fast Food in this study, includes Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Pizza Hut and McDonald's
