  3. Billy lost 5 yards on his first carry, but gained 8 yards on his second carry. What is his rushing total at that time?

  4. One cold winter morning, then temperature was -5 degrees. Three hours later it had warmed up to 23 degrees. What is the total change in temperature?

  5. That ends 0.3! You can use a calculator on parts of 0.4. Adding/Subtracting fractions… nope Checking….. Yes Adding/subtracting decimals….. Yes Ordering numbers… yes

  6. As decimals: As fractions:

  7. If they have the same denominator you keep the denominator and just add the numerator.
