US Air ForceTechnical Degree Sponsorship Program • Must be between the ages of 18 and 34 at time of commissioning • Must be a US Citizen • Engineering program must be accredited by ABET • Minimum 3.0 GPA • Must score a minimum of 25 on the verbal and quantitative portions on the AF Officer Qualifying Test • Must meet and complete all requirements for Basic Officer Training School • Once selected, you will receive an Airman 1st Class enlisted pay stipend while attending school, which is currently approximately $1,650.

  3. US Air ForceBasic Officer Training School • Candidates learn communication skills, leadership, management, military history, Air Force customs and courtesies, world affairs, and participate in organized sports and physical conditioning • 12-week training is held at Maxwell AFB, AL • BOT graduates are commissioned as second lieutenants and have an initial 4-year active-duty commitment
