  3. Are you Smarter than a MESA 9th Grader?

  4. Logger Pro is— A) someone who cuts wood… professionally. B) like the game Frogger. But with a Log. C) a computer software used in Physics classes that analyzes data from a multitude of sources, builds tables and graphs, and solves equations.

  6. The term “Kinematics”-- A) describes those suffering from an addiction to Kinemat. B) is Yiddish for “Headache”. C) describes the branch of Physics dealing with an object’s motion.

The Standards • PH.1 The student will plan and conduct investigations in which • b) instruments are selected and used to extend observations and measurements of… motion • c) information is recorded and presented in an organized format; • d) metric units are used in all measurements and calculations; • e) the limitations of the experimental apparatus and design are recognized; • h) appropriate technology including computers… is used for gathering and analyzing data and communicating results.
