IPCC 2010 Assessment Report • Compared to last century the world temperature has already increased by 0.7 C & in Polars, it is 5 Deg C • Global Sea levels are rising by 3.1 mm already and seas are swelling due to warm water expansion • Arctic Summer Sea Ice will disappear by 2080 • India has nearly 7000 km of beautiful sea coasts • Nearly 20 % of India’s people live there from time immemorial

  2. The Climate Change Impact : • Disappearance of the worlds first • inhabited Island • Remote, that only satellite monitoring • showed disappearance 7000 people lived in this island, evacuated to near by Islands
