Basic Principles: All activities are done not „for Roma people“ but „with Roma people“ All activities have tangible outcomes for Roma as well as non Roma community Learning between Roma and non Roma colleagues is only possible via honest, open communication, appreciation of diversity and genuine interest in mutual as well as different perceiveness of issues The Hvezda Society Czech Republic

  3. Main Goals: To reduce risks related to drug use via enhancing drug awareness in Romany community as well as via helping drug treatment services become more Roma friendly The Hvezda Society Czech Republic

  4. Main Goals: Via Roma outreach workers to gain data re drug use in Romany community in order to design appropriate services for Romany clients The Hvezda Society Czech Republic

  6. 1. Three phase training (Roma Outreach) for mixed group of outreach workers 2. Creation of preventional culturally friendly material Project Activities and Elements

  7. 3. Dissemination of the comic as a drug awareness tool in Roma communities in the CR by Roma colleagues who created it 4. Preparation of special research module with Roma colleagues Project Activities and Elements

  8. 5. Training for Roma colleagues from the group in order to prepare them for doing a “peer research” in Roma community 6. Report for the Government including suggestiones for the services provision improvement Project Activities and Elements
