  1. Follow Up to ‘Facing the Giants’ Written By: Carson Dial April Thirtieth 2013 7th Period

  2. Perseverance • Perseverance is not giving up when you could so easily. A time I had to persevere was when I tried to use the magnetic lasso for our Photoshop magazine covers, this caused me to tear out my hair in frustration.

  3. Kindness • Kindness is selflessly doing something that has no profit for you. A time I showed kindness was when I bought my brother a toy he’d been wanting when he was a poor man and I had the cash.

  4. There is value in effort, a better turnout generally. I try to give my best on things that matter or on things that I need to accomplish and try to prioritize otherwise.

  5. Preparing for Rain • Preparing for rain is to trust that it will come like being in debt and trusting you’ll come out of it. I went through a time like this when I had to wait on something that was constantly delayed and then failed to come in.

  6. I am willing to attempt the impossible when trying to be athletic or when trying to maintain grades, but not when attempting the true impossible, proven and set.

  7. I do not falter in the face of defeat, I march on until I can stand no longer, when all I have is broken and defeated, and not even then do I willingly so.

  8. While I tend to criticize without meaning to I do try to encourage those I am alligned with or those I care for.

  9. The choices you make every single day can affect the rest of your life as you know it, even saying something wrong to a certain person can change your and their future dramatically.
