  1. September 5, 2014 Miss Rampart’s Classroom News We had a great first week! We had a fun week of learning the routines, rules, and all about our classroom. I hope everyone survived at home too! Kindergarten is a long day, please make sure your child is getting enough sleep and eating a good breakfast. ================================= This week we focused on school books and The Kissing Hand. We did numerous activities with the Kissing Hand! In Math your children were introduced to various math manipulatives and were able to experiment by using them. ================================= Snack – just a reminder to send your child with a snack every day. Remember we only have about 10 minutes for snack, so please limit the snacks that are sent. Extra Clothes – if you have not done so, please send your child with an extra change of clothes in a plastic bag to keep in their locker. The Scholastic News Order is due September 12th. For every online order our classroom library receives a book! Thank you for all of your help and donations. I am looking forward to a wonderful year! Weekly Behavior Sheets Beginning next week, you will see a colored behavior sheet in your child’s home folder. This sheet needs to be signed each night and returned back to school. You will not keep these sheets. These sheets will be used to communicate any behavioral situations that occur in the classroom. Home Folders – please return your child’s folder back to school each day. These folders are not to be kept at home. Rest Towels – rest towels will be sent home every Friday. Please wash your child’s towel and return it back in the bag on Monday. IMPORTANT INFO
