  5. Our Moodle Journey • Pilot December 2008- 2 centres • Full roll out March 2009 • September 2009- last centre added • Development began on Staff Training site • 2 track support • Support visits to centres • Developing new products and redeveloping existing content. • Moodle admin

  6. More than just a learning environment • Communication tool • Chat sessions and guest speakers • Work focused action plans • Training tool • Employability skills • I.T skills • Job focused features • Job/ placement database • Information, advice and guidance

Flexibility for the future • Uncertain times within welfare to work • Only certainty is reliance on: • Results • Personalisation of service • Added value • Flexible delivery of training • Meeting the needs of each learning style • Easily adaptable platform for innovation • Consistency for CDG brand and training

  8. What next for ‘build’? • Job focused developments • Job search database • Expansion of Advice and guidance • Barrier removal • Linking with partner organisations • Staff training site • Capacity to adapt to wherever the industry goes
