Various Levels of Use • Beginner Level Maths Y10 Demo Course • Add current files: MS Office docs & PDFs etc • Medium Level World War II Course • Start using some of the interactive tools alongside your MS Office docs etc • Advanced Level Web Development Course • Use more Web based resources moving away from reliance on users having correct software • Increased use of interactive tools

Advantages • Course Structure & Functionality • Easy to use – Teachers & Students, Site navigation • Teacher control & ownership of course space • Many types of resources can be added – eg embed YouTube • Good range of interactive activities • Student profile, tracking & functions– eg Gradebook • Annual Rollover & Transportability

Have a Play • Go to www.rightclicklearning.org • Click “Create new account” [top right] • Fill out form • Recommend Username: eg mcallagher • Click “Create my new account” • Go to your Email & verify your account • I will add you to a sandpit course as a teacher • Have a Play • Try uploading a word doc [Turn editing on first] • Try adding a label

Now • Feel free to play around in Sandpit • I will set up courses on request • Build a course(s) over holidays – see me • I can do ½ day workshop for people to get started • Enrol students beginning Feb 2009 • Rightclicklearning Moodle site to run alongside ecoll • Opportunity to try using Moodle in an ad hoc way • Mid-year review – look at Wellington College Moodle site for 2010 • Full training & support 2nd half year • Replace ecoll?
