  4. Rugby Practice Rugby practice begins Tuesday Dec. 3rd and will be every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 Our 1st game will be Saturday Dec 14th at Dusty Rhodes Park in Ocean Beach. Bring Cleats and a Mouthpiece. 3901 Landis St, San Diego, CA ‎(619) 283-2251 the YMCA off of Landis St. Between 38th St. and 40th St. The same as last year.

The HOOVER WRESTLING TEAM Opens their 2013-14 season The HOOVER WRESTLING TEAM opens their 2013-2014 season at home with a quad meet versus Saints, Cathedral Catholic and Chula Vista this Wednesday, right after school in the Big Gym. Admission is free so come out and support your cardinal wrestlers!

  7. who completed a great 2013 season by competing in the CIF Division II Championships on Saturday November 23 at Morley Field in Balboa Park. Congratulations to all the Cross Country Runners The Boys’ varsity team finished 7th overall in an extremely competitive race. The team was led by sophomore AwalHussen, who finished 14th overall to qualify to run in the CIF State Division II meet in Fresno where he represented Hoover last Saturday, November 30. . --Coach Hoskisson

  11. HOOVER WRESTLING TEAM The HOOVER WRESTLING TEAM is still looking for athletes of all shapes, size and gender. Come join us for practice after school every day in the wrestling room (Big Gym under the upper bleachers). ALL STUDENTS interested in JOINING are welcome and should come in short and t-shirt. Come out with your friends, challenge yourself, get in shape, travel to competitions and see if you have what it takes. Coach Hoskisson

Wrestling Team Managers • The HOOVER WRESTLING TEAM is looking for a couple of responsible, motivated team managersfor the upcoming season. • Become an important part of running our program, travel and earn a varsity letter. If you are interested please see Coach Hoskisson in the wrestling room any day after school for more information.

  14. Detention This Week • Detention will be held every day after school in Room 405/Computer Lab.  • Please tell students to enter through the outside door, not the Library.  • Detention starts at 2:30 and ends at 3:30.  • Students must be ON TIME to receive detention credit.
