  1. Teenager in 1968 Being a teenager in 1968 was very difficult for us teenagers in the lower class. Well, we were lower class to other people , but we were used to it. I was in a group called the greasers and we were constantly into it with the soc’s on the west side. The soc’s had everything from corvairs to posh houses. Us the only thing we were defined by was our greasy hair and being prototyped as troublemakers. Quite frankly the Soc’s got in just as much trouble as we did. We traded spots in the newspaper. The world also had its problems. We had to deal with the sudden assasination of Martin Luther King , Jr. We also had our share off deaths . I lost two of my best friends , there names were Dally and Johnny. Even though 1968 was a sad year , it had its highlights. My favorite basketball team the Celtics won the NBA championship. As you can see 1968 was not the best year off all time , but we figured out way to make it better. Sincerely , Ponyboy Curtis

The show featured a father and his three sons. The family lived on a thousand-square-mile ranch called Ponderosa. The show's title "Bonanza" is a term used by miners in regards to a large vein or deposit of ore. The show Bonanza was popular then and is today coming on occasionally on TV Land.

  9. Muhammad Ali Muhammad Ali was arguably the best boxer of all time. Some people remember him by his famous quote “ I float like a butterfly and I sting like a bee”. He was also known by his style of boxing literally playing with his opponents at times.

  13. CLIFF ROBERTSON Cliff Robertson an academy award winner for his role in Charly a film in 1968. He played as an mentally challenged man that had a desire to get smarter. Other actors were : Lilia Skala Leon Janney Ruth White  Dick Van Patten – Edward McNally  Barney Martin  William Dwyer  Dan Morgan Cliff Robertson won the award for best actor.

  14. Hippies Hippies: Personally I don’t like the hippies. I feel they have a bad influence on the culture today with people smoking banned substances. Even though there symbol was peace I don’t think they meant it with all the riots and loud concerts they had. I also think they started people being alcoholics. In the end as you can tell I think Hippies are responsible for many of the drug abuse problems today.
