  1. How To Prepare Walls For Painting 1: All surfaces that are not supposed to be painted will need to be covered. Step 2: Cover radiators and any hardware fixtures using polythene dust sheet.

  4. Tools and Materials Required • Masking tape • Powered Paint Sprayer • Safety Goggles & Respirator • Shoe covers • Polythene Dust Sheets

  5. Prepare Paint For Spraying  • Step 1: Fill the paint sprayer canister to the level recommended by the manufacturer. • Step 2: Test the sprayer on a piece of cardboard. • Step 3: Add a little amount of thinner if the paint is thick.

  6. Use Paint Sprayer To Paint a Ceiling Step 1: Move the spray gun parallel to the ceiling and apply spray paint evenly. • Perform “cross-coating” to get a uniform finish. • Leave it dry for the amount of time recommended in the owner’s manual.

Use Paint Sprayer to Paint a Wall  • Step 1: Start working nearest the main light source in room such as “window”. • Step 2: At a steady speed, move the sprayer gun up and down. • Step 3: corner and edges can be sprayed using the same technique. • Step 4: Once the walls are done, leave to dry.

  8. Clean a Paint Sprayer After Use • Step 1: Switch off the device. Remove the paint canister from the sprayer. • Step 2: Clean the paint canister with paper towels. • Step 3: Detach any other removable parts and thoroughly clean them under running water.
