  5. State Standards • Implementation of Next Generation Science Standards • Performance-based • Connections to Common Core Standards in Math and English Language Arts

  6. Online Access to Textbook • Go to www.myscienceonline.com • Each student will have a username and password. • Opportunity for extra practice or extension of learning.

  7. Grading Policies • Homework: 20% • Labs/Daily Work: 25% • Tests/Quizzes: 25% • Projects: 20% • Participation: 10% • Late work: Must be turned in on or before test date for unit. • Items handed in after their due date will be credited 50% of their earned value. • Extra Credit will be offered, but will not make up for persistent late or incomplete work.

  8. Class Resources • Question and answer time during class time is provided. • Students may get pass to come to my class during advisory on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday. • Check homework center when absent for description of class period and homework. • Utilize the class website.
