  3. Sharks Life • They have cartilage • They eat many fish • There skin is like sandpaper • Some fish hang from sharks • Some sharks blend in with the bottom of the sea • They smell blood from miles away • Hammerhead sharks swim in groups • Sharks don’t have bones

  4. Shark pups • some of their eggs are hard shells • Some grow in their moms • When sharks grow up they are awesome predators

  5. Blue Ribbon Sharks • A hammerhead has a wide head but it is great for hunting • The Spined shark is 8 inches long • When a Great White bites its prey its eyes roll back in to its head • The mako can swim up to 20 miles per hour • There are 375 different types of sharks

  6. Teeth • They have three different types of teeth • Different sharks have different teeth • Long spiky teeth are for catching • Flat teeth are for grinding • Serrated teeth are for ripping
