  6. I-65 Major Rehab • Complete removal of Concrete Sections • Replace With Asphalt • Traffic Control • Contractor????? • December 2009 Completion • Approx. $30 Million • Stimulus Funded

  7. Cable Rail Installation • Installation on KY 841 from I-65 to Dixie Highway • I-65 in Bullitt, Hart, and Barren Counties • Gibraltor System – (4 wires) • RMD Holdings • Fall 2009 Completion • $3.1 Million

  8. I-65 Patching & Diamond Grinding • Patch Bad Concrete Areas from MP 118.5 to 127.5 • Grind Surface • Faulkner Construction • Fall 2009 Completion • $5.7 Million • Stimulus Funded

  9. I-64 Widening • Widen I-64 between I-265 and Shelby Co. Line • 3 Lanes in each direction – Barrier Median • Gohmann Asphalt & Construction • Fall 2010 Completion • $34 Million

  10. Eastern Parkway • “Road Diet” and Pedestrian Safety • Bridge over Floyd and Brook Streets Rehab • Warnock Ramp Reconfiguration • Over-Height Truck detection system • MAC Construction (Low bid – not yet awarded) • January 2010 Completion • $7.1 Million

  11. Preston Highway (KY61) • 4-Lane Widening • From Jefferson County Line to John Harper Highway • One of Four Sections • Stimulus Funded • Flynn Brothers Contracting • January 2010 Completion • $6.2 Million

  12. Shawnee Expressway Bridge • I-264 West to I-64 West Bridge • Mainly for Rehab • Lane Configuration stays the same • Faulkner Construction • May 2010 Completion • $5.6 Million
