  5. Slide Design: FOCUS on Content • Use design templates • Standardize colors and styles • Use contrasting colors • Consistent transitions and animation • Forget the fluff – sound effects, clip art, animation

  6. Helpful Tips • Get organized – take good notes • Distill words down to essential information • Type in text first, then add graphics • Save transitions and animation till last • Practice your presentation
