  3. The main success of the Platform during 2004 The Platform become coordinated movement of 15 NGOs External forces Trialog and CIDA-ODACE

  4. Lithuanian NGDO Platform members They are very different The women organizations, ethnic minorities associations have excellent connections for cross-border cooperation, experience in refugee work, gender issues.

  5. Lithuanian NGDO Platform members The coalition The New Connections are six NGDOs, working on national and international level in Development education.

Lithuanian NGDO Platform members The Lithuanian Red Cross, Movement Chernobyl, Geneva Initiative on Psychiatry Church related organizations Lithuanian Caritas, Lithuanian Kolping society, Life and Faith institute are members of well established global institutions. As participants at general assemblies, committee’s members they are regularly exposed to the global challenges, involved into decision making processes, projects.

  7. Lithuanian NGDO Platform members Environmental Information Centre via GLEN network sends volunteers to Asia and Africa countries.

  8. Lithuanian NGDO Platform For the time being, we can only guess how many Lithuanian NGOs are going to implement EC projects by participating in the consortiums with NGDOs of OMS.

The main challenge facing the Platform during 2005 The Platform members concerns are: • members’ capacity building program, • to create working structure for mutual information and experience exchange, • to share information, human recourses, • to learn to represent the value of the very specific social diplomacy activities carried out abroad at national and EU level.
