  11. VEGETACIÓN • Masa amorfa de tamaño variable de plaquetas, fibrina, microorganismos y células inflamatorias.

  15. Hemocultivo DIAGNÓSTICO Aguda  alto porcentaje positivo Subaguda, crónica y micotica  negativos 2 positivos con 12hrs diferencia

  16. Ecocardiograma • 60-70% sensibilidad • Tamaño forma e implantación de vegetaciones • Trombos murales en la zona séptica • Insuficiencia aortica aguda • Comunicación aorta – cavidades derechas
