  1. 10 Things OIF Did in 2010

  2. 1 Sent 154 students off to college with Optimist International oratorical, essay, and CCDHH scholarships totaling $171,200.

  3. 2 Raised $148,711 for future scholarships, ending the year with one endowed scholarship, two additional endowment pledges, and 25 five-year scholarships.

  4. 3 Paid out $176,576 to Clubs utilizing the Club Campaign program and added an additional $44,478 in interest to Club Campaign funds.

  5. 4 Helped 475 Optimists help 14,391 children and their families by awarding 20 Club Grants in every OIF Region.

  6. 5 Assisted Clubs in receiving $187,005 in charitable contributions for their own local programs through the Pass Through program

  7. 6 Awarded $365 racing banner patches to 275 Clubs for their gifts. A total of 521 Clubs made unrestricted gifts, and a total of 722 overall contributed to the Foundation.

  8. 7 Sent $450,000 to Optimist International for the Optimist International Research Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Johns Hopkins.

  9. 8 Approved funding for the new eOptimist program, and provided funding for every international program of Optimist International.

  10. 9 Added 78 new donor members to the Women’s Philanthropy Council, which will fund two scholarships and two Club grants in 2011.

  11. 10 Renewed 322 members of the Presidents Club and added 43 new members, ending the year with 365 OIF members.
