Rock Canyon HS Boys Lacrosse Booster Club Mission: To support the coaching staff to help provide our young men the most positive high school lacrosse experience possible. “To run a bare-bones football program, the cost is between $20,000 and $25,000…In terms of traditional sports, the expense of ice time makes hockey expensive. Lacrosse and football aren’t far behind in the list of high-expense needs” -Colorado Community Newspapers, February 3, 2012 • FAQ’s • What fees are there to play lacrosse? • Families are required to pay the District $150 fee directly to the school. Additionally, the RCHS lacrosse team issues a $100 fee payable to the booster club. • What do we fund raise for? • The RCHS Lacrosse Booster club raises money via fundraisers and the team fee to help bridge the gap between the funding the District provides and what is necessary to run the program. This includes • Coaches Salary • Only 3 paid by District • Boosters ensure that all • are paid • In-line with competitive • programs • Uniforms • Game/Practice Balls (up to $800/ yr) • What are the fundraisers for this year? • Ski Film Night (Nov 2nd or 3rd) • Sponsor Book • Pancake Breakfast (Feb 9th) • King Soopers Gift Cards • Golf Tournament (June 3rd) • Website Maintenance • Inexpensive End-of-Season Banquet • Goals and Nets • Sport Psychologists • Off-Season • Activities • Jerseys • Tessera Sports Training
