  2. Why organising TNC2013? • SURFnet celebrates silver jubilee - 25 years • SURFnet has achieved a great deal in the past 25 year, partly because our collaboration with you and partners in Europe and beyond • We believe in collaboration beyond the borders

  3. SURFnet communication goals • National • Show our government the importance of our work as NREN • To inform and show our connected institutions what we do internationally • Internationally • To inform our partners all over the world what we are doing

Some channels • Government • Direct communication, invitation • Invite press, press releases • Connected institutions • Press releases • Own channels (website, social media, newsletter, ……) • International partners • Host of TNC • Presentations during TNC • Communicate about TNC Internationally together with TERENA

TERENA and SURFnet working together • TNC goals • The TERENA community knows what TNC is about • The TERENA community know the programme of TNC • New visitors from outside of the regular TERENA community • We want 500+ visitors • The TERENA community gets involved with the TNC • Added value of NRENs and share information what NRENs are about
