Lessons Learned • A new set of performance measure is needed to capture a truly multimodal approach. • Data for performance measures is not uniformly available across modes, facility types or geographic areas. • System management, demand management and pricing can be effective elements of a Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). • A corridor approach is a useful addition to the MTP development. • New institutional arrangements can effectively support the application of a CMP in regional planning.
