Striving to constantly improve • As an educational institution, it is our job to constantly seek ways to improve effectiveness of instruction in all areas • This especially includes the innovative use of technology whenever possible • Lack of current technological influence on current Gym/Health program marks perfect opportunity for implementation

Equipment and Software improving efficiency • Equipment -iPad mini • Interactive Software -Health Related Fitness -Outdoor Education complete -Invasion Complete -Problem Solving Complete • Both the equipment and software will simplify tedious tasks of both student and teacher in gym and classroom settings • Allows for more 1 on 1 instruction in addition to an expanded curriculum due to task simplification -Tasks are easier, more time for activities/material

  4. iPad mini • Very portable and easy to use tablet technology • Built in software provides various advantages to program instruction in both classroom and gym settings • Numerous applications, like the Nike+ Move app, available through iTunes marketplace to further improve effectiveness of instruction • Can be purchased at a variety of outlets • $329.99 base price -likely discount available for educational institutions; would be especially beneficial should we choose to purchase multiple units

Health Related Fitness Software • Interactive computer software • Covers Five Areas of Health Related Fitness; already in curriculum • Will greatly assist in student’s understanding key, fundamental health concepts • Proven to raise test scores in regards to Health Related Fitness Concepts • Available at Bonnies Fitware for $150.00

Outdoor Education Software • Interactive computer software • Provides information on outdoor and survival education skills • Addresses all national and state standards related to outdoor education • Innovative curriculum addition; currently not offered in most public schools -May require school boardapproval • Available at Bonnies Fitware for $150.00

  7. “Invasion” Complete • Interactive computer software • Proper skill instruction in football, basketball, soccer and other gym activities • Combining technology with physical instruction great for overall program safety, as well as individual athletic skill development • Available at Bonnies Fitware for $150.000

Problem Solving Complete • Interactive computer software • Improves understanding of problem solving and cooperation skills • Adds “team first” element to sport’s and gym activities • Information beneficial across entire educational spectrum, not just gym and health; these are vital life skills-May require school board approval • Available at Bonnies Fitware for $150.00
