  3. The concept is patterned to the Year of Faith logo. Thus, making it more personalized/local yet still in solidarity with the Year of Faith

  4. + Boat Waves (5) The logo is composed of a square, bordered field on which a BOAT, symbolizing the Church,

  5. + Boat Waves (5) is represented as sailing on waves. There are 5 WAVES symbolizing the Church journeying towards the 500th year of Christianity in the Philippines.

  6. In line with the Year of Faith, the 12 WHITE TRIANGLES in the boat represent the 12 ARTICLES OF OUR FAITH.

  7. The main mast of the boat is the CROSS. It is made up of people UNITING AROUND and forming the REDEEMING CROSS OF CHRIST. Cross

  8. The VINTA represents our journey as one diocese in the Decade of New Evangelization. The 6 WHITE STRIPES in the Vinta represents the 6 vicariates of the Diocese of Parañaque Vinta

  9. Sun Like in the Year of Faith logo, the background to the sails is a SUN refers also to the EUCHARIST
