  2. MATH LEAGUE The first meeting of the Math League will be Thursday, October 3 at 7:30 a.m. in room C104. Anyone still interested in participating, please see Mrs. Bukowski in room C104. See you then!

STUDENT COUNCIL Reminder to all 8th graders who are running for the Executive Board Please turn in a copy of your speech and your completed questionnaire to Mrs. Schwartz no later than Tuesday, October 1 during homeroom.  You may turn in these materials ahead of time.  You may also display a campaign poster in the Cafetorium starting on Tuesday.

  5. YEARBOOK Attention all 7th and 8th grade students interested in joining the yearbook staff. To be considered for the staff, you must complete the yearbook application and the teacher recommendation. Both forms are available on Mr. Purdum’s yearbook section of his website and must be submitted on or before Friday, October 4th.

  6. ATTENTION! Grade 6th, 7th & 8th PRMS Winter Sports Sign Ups (girls’ basketball, boys’ basketball and wrestling) October 1, 2013 to October 15, 2013 Forms Distributed starting the week of October 15, 2013 All sports forms must be completed and sent in to the nurse by November 1, 2013 First Try-out November 11, 2013

GIRL’S SOCCER Congratulations to the varsity girls soccer team for defeating Stone Bridge, 1 - 0.  Fiona Aromando scored on a direct free kick outside of the eighteen, with a perfectly placed boot into the upper corner of the far side of the goal.  It was a great effort by all members of the team.  Please continue to keep up the great work.
