General Registration Timeline • February- Receive Directions for Course Registration/Course Selection Guide. • Parent Night-2/15 in South Auditorium & gym • Your Course requests are due by Feb. 21. • Early August – Schedules available online with a 10 day window to make schedule changes • Schedule changes are limited once school begins. *FRESHMEN ORIENTATION IN LATE AUGUST *

Minimum Graduation Requirements • 4 Credits Each of English and Social Studies • 3 Credits Each of Science and Math • Physical Education Each Year In High School • Health In 9th/10th and 11th/12th Grade • In-Class Driver’s Education • Graduation Project • Community Service (20 Hours) • Electives (5.5 credits) • Total Of 22.50 Credits

HOW TO REQUEST COURSES • Refer to “2012-2013 Course Request Tip Sheet” • Log on to Home Access Center http://www.scasd.org/hac • Recommendations will be pre-loaded • Choose Health and other electives • You must have at least 26 class periods per week/no more than 40 • You can select alternatives to elective choices • Changes to recommended courses require parent signature
