  2. EASTER BASKET • The Easter Bunny or Easter Rabbit is a character depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs. The Easter Bunny is sometimes depicted with clothes. In legend, the creature carries colored eggs in his basket, candy and sometimes also toys to the homes of children, and as such shows similarities to Santa Claus, as they both bring gifts to children on the night before their respective holiday. It was first mentioned in Georg Franck von Frankenau's De ovispaschalibus (About Easter Eggs) in 1682 referring to an Alsace tradition of an Easter Hare bringing Easter Eggs.

  3. EASTER EGGS • Easter eggs are special eggs that are often given to celebrate Easter or springtime. As such, Easter eggs are common during the season of Eastertide. In Christianity, they symbolize the empty tomb of Jesus. Though an egg appears to be like the stone of a tomb, a bird hatches from it with life; similarly, the Easter egg, for Christians, is a reminder that Jesus rose from the grave, and that those who believe will also experience eternal life.

  4. In some churches are organizedcompetitions for the largest Easter egg. Here is one of them.

  5. Egghunt • An egg hunt is a game during which decorated eggs, real hard-boiled ones or artificial ones filled with, or made of chocolate candies, of various sizes, are hidden for children to find, both indoors and outdoors. • When the hunt is over, prizes may be given for the largest number of eggs collected, or for the largest or the smallest egg. • Real eggs may further be used in egg tapping contests.

  6. Passover Passoveris a Jewish festival. It commemorates the story of the Exodus, in which the ancient Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt.
