  5. If I were the Devil • I would seek to rob Christians of their true identity. • I would distract Christians from their true life’s calling of walking with the Lord. • I would minimize their faith with either fear or arrogance.

  6. If I were the Devil • I would shake their faith in their Father • I would throw off moral restraint

  8. Ephesians 6:13 - Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

  10. Spiritual Warfare Ephesians 6:16 - In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can ex-tinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

  11. What is Faith? Trust It is living in the reality that God is our loving Father.

  12. Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

  15. Faith does not guarantee ease What Faith Does NOT Do • It does not shield from physical suffering • It does not shield from loss of earthly possessions • It does not shield from grief

  18. 7 These have come so that your faith — of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire — may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

  19. Faith makes things possible, not easy.

  20. Faith saves Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from your-selves, it is the gift of God — 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. What Faith DOES

  31. What are the fiery darts of the devil? • Temptations which make you doubt God’s power • Circumstances which make you doubt God’ love • Unbelief which makes you doubt God’s truth

  32. What are the fiery darts of the devil? • Guilt makes you doubt God’s mercy • Complacency makes you doubt God’s holiness • Fatigue makes you doubt God’s peace

  33. Faith gives itself a good talking to!

  34. Faith is overcoming doubts and deception with rock solid truth.
