  2. About Stainless Steel Sculpture Sculptures are not limited to any specific country or community but it is appreciated by one and all. It is pure art and art is the purest form of the society. Sculpture is a great form of art which requires lot of patience to make and even tougher dedication to look on every detail. The sculpture culture started to develop independently in China, South America and Egypt. Stainless steel sculpture is modern form compared to the other materials used for sculpture but it has become hugely popular in a short span of time.

  3. Small sized sculpture with high level details and texture. • large size sculpture with few detail. • The hardness of stainless steel is much higher than bronze so it takes much longer to chase and finish on stainless steel casting.

  4. Melting Point About 1890 degree celsius. This is very high temperature compared with other metal, bronze (1200 ). The high temperature of melting determines it takes long time to do ceramic shelling.

  5. Common Types For Sculpture • 316: marine grade. High corrosion performs even in salty water. • 304: food container level. It can resist corrosion in ordinary environment.

  6. There is lower level stainless steel 201 with poor corrosion performance so it is not commonly used for sculptures.

  7. Polishing • Mirror polishing: highly reflective. • Mild polishing: a little bit shiny. • Matty: brushed finishing.

  8. Maintenance • Soft cloth and water: suitable for cosmetic issues and general cleaning. • Mild detergent: needed if stains cannot be easily lifted with water.
