  1. A Description of Isis’s Abode Which Adds to the Joy of the Philae Sound and Light Show The Temple of Philae is Egypt’s ancient center to the cult of Isis. From the era of the Pharaohs to the Greek, Byzantine, and Roman periods, the Temple of Philae received admiration. All the rulers mentioned above added a bit of their personalization here. This sacred site has been dazzling the travelers from all over the world. Tourists have been frequenting this shrine since the first cruise ship began journeying from Cairo.

  2. The entrance The first pylon is the gateway which marks the entry gate to the main temple area. The two towers and the central doorway constitutes a grand eighteen-meter high entry. Reliefs by Nectanebo adorns the pillar columns. There is a doorway on the western towers with instances by Philometor. It leads to the Birth House. You will learn more at the Philae Sound and Light show

  3. The courtyard After crossing the arch, you enter the central courtyard. The Philae Sound and Light show will focus on Egyptian history. However, if you look closely, then you will notice a French inscription on the central doorway. It commemorates the campaign of Napoleon. On either side of the courtyard, you will spot colonnade-fronted structures.

  4. The second pylon There is much to explore in the yard. Unfortunately, there isn’t much space here to mention them all. Once you leave the forecourt behind, you reach the second entrance. The royal outlook of the entry gate is befitting, and it leads to the inner sanctum of the temple. The doorway is magnificent, to say the least, which stands twelve meters high and thirty-two meters wide.

  5. The vestibule Now you will be delving deep into the heart of the temple. The first portion you see is the eight-columned vestibule. The ancient Egyptians placed screens between the columns to separate the inner areas. You might spot Coptic crosses and Greek inscriptions on the walls. These signs say that the Byzantines transformed the place into a worship-house for the Christians.

  6. House of Isis As you keep moving forward, you will reach the most coveted destination, the house of Isis. Before you get to it, you will pass through several antechambers flanked by rooms on the sides. The sanctuary of Isis is a room brightened by two windows. As you head out of the chamber, you will arrive at the gateway of Hadrian.

  7. Shortage of adjectives Yes, everyone will fall short of ornamental words to describe the beauty of the Temple of Philae. It looks magnificent during the day, but the floodlights transform it entirely at night. Nature also plays a crucial role in highlighting the glamor of this construction. With the stars in the background, the sound and light show becomes even more majestic. People pine for a ticket to the sound and light show at Philae. The only reason behind it is the romance and unrequited love of Isis and Osiris.
