6. Harsh Mariwala (Founder) "Mr. Mariwala is the Founder and Chairman of Marico Ltd. and Kaya Ltd." Over the past three decades, Mr. Mariwala has transformed a traditional commodities driven business into a leading consumer products and services company in the Beauty and Wellness space. From a turnover of about USD 77,000 in 1971, Marico’s products in hair nourishment, male grooming and healthy foods generated a turnover of about USD 916 million during 2016-17. Under his leadership, Marico has achieved several awards and over 100 external recognition in the last few years.

7. Rishabh Mariwala Rishabh spearheads Sharrp Ventures which manages the Mariwala Family Office. After graduating from Hofstra University, NY, USA in 2007, Rishabh joined Kaya Skin Clinic working across functions from Projects, Service quality management and Online Marketing. After 3 years of enriching exposure in the Marico Group, Rishabh took an entrepreneurial leap by establishing . Soap Opera N More (brand PureSense), a marketer of niche bath and body personal care products. 8. Chaitanya Deshpande Chaitanya is an advisor to Sharrp Ventures. He is also an independent angel investor and advises companies on Investor Relations. Prior to going independent, Chaitanya had a 24 year stint at Marico. 9. Anand Shankar Anand is an Investment Manager at Sharrp Ventures and is involved in deal origination, evaluation, investment execution, and in post investment monitoring of portfolio companies. Anand has previously been a PE/VC investor with Incofin Investment Management, GVFL, and at Axilor Ventures. Prior to entering the venture capital industry, Anand has served as an Audit Associate at boutique accounting advisory firms and later as a Team Leader in the Financial Markets desk at Standard Chartered Group India, where he was involved in Performance Strategy Analysis and reporting to Group Senior Management. Anand received his MS in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University and also holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce degree from Loyola College and a Chartered Accountancy professional certificate from ICAI, India. 12. How We Invest • We provide long term patient capital to catalyze growth in the Indian entrepreneurial eco- system. • We are sector agnostic but with a bias for consumer/consumption stories. We are looking for teams and ideas that have the potential to scale significantly. India is likely to remain an attractive growth market in the foreseeable future, so we would focus primarily on companies serving a large market opportunity in India. Simultaneously, we are interested in a team’s articulation of “its right to win”. We are keen to understand what is differentiated in the model and not quickly replicable and the team’s ability to execute the plan. • Our preference is to co-invest with well-regarded seed/venture/PE funds. We tend not to take the lead in an investment round. • Apart from investments directly into companies, we participate in the space through investing as a Limited Partner in VC / PE funds.

13. How We Invest • We will bring more than just a cheque to the table. We understand that entrepreneurs need the independence to run their companies. We will nevertheless be available on a pull-basis to add value when needed. This might be in the form of benefiting from the network that we have built doing business over several years. In addition, we can provide operating and management expertise, particularly in the areas of overall strategy, marketing & distribution, team building & organization structure, business enabling HR practices, corporate governance and scaling the business.
