  7. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) • How sensitive is the motion detection? - I have two smaller dogs and it easily detects them teen feet away. I don't think your dog falls into this category but it is a consideration. It would be best to mount the light so your dog crosses parallel to the light (rather than toward it) at that is the angle the sensor is most effective.
