Constraints-1

There are no reliable data bases that can be referred to in order to answer some important questions about:

  • the antimalarial drugs actually used for first-line and second-line treatments?

  • quantities used annually of each drug by governmental or by private medical sectors.

  • the cost and efficacy of treatments.

Constraints 2 l.jpg
Constraints-2

No unified Malaria Treatment Policy

That limits the use of antimalaria drugs by both governmental and private sectors

to only what is suggested by the MOH

in accordance with the national policy
