Regardless of gender, race or religion, you have the same rights as every other citizen.
You have the right to be different and to enjoy others diversity. The United States is a mixture of many cultures with different traditions and beliefs, yet we all share the same rights under the law.
American democracy depends on our government and its citizens telling the truth. We expect our government and its leaders to be truthful to us and they can expect the same.
This is the idea that the power of our government comes from "We the People”. The United States is ruled by its people through their votes.
Patriotism is a personal display of love and devotion to our country, its values, and principles.
